Wash Care: Silk and Silk cotton
1.Silk and silk cotton should never be hand-washed or machine-washed; it should always be dry-cleaned.
2. Never hang a silk or silk cotton saree to dry in direct sunlight, as doing so will cause the colour to fade.
3. Don’t keep the clothes bundled up as this will result in the threads of the zari /embroidery work getting entangled.
4. If it gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water.
Pro Tips: Store silk or silk cotton in a light cotton muslin
cloth. This will give the material breathing space and will prevent one saree from sticking to another when kept in a pile.
